Story
New Creation Hair Salon is more than just a beauty salon, it’s a business truly uplifting the community with beauty and opportunity.
​A business born out of love for beauty and the faith of a mentor.
Growing up in southeast Washington DC, Jauan Clark developed a love for beauty and had a dream of one day owning her very own salon. This love for beauty eventually landed Jauan in a cosmetology program. While in class one day, Jauan’s instructor announced that he was seeking to retire soon and that the next owner of his salon could be sitting in that very same class. Unbeknownst to Jauan, the instructor had already hand-picked her to be his successor. In 2015, Jauan became a business owner, her childhood dream becoming a reality.
Through her love for beauty, Jauan not only transforms the way her customers look on the outside but has also helped transform how they feel on the inside as well.
